Smoothie Time - Honey, Ginger, Peach & Spinach Smoothie

Hey guys, at the end of this month I am headed to the Dominican for a week with some amazing people and I have been trying to eat super healthy and work out at least 5 times a week. So far not so good, just because I’ve been super busy at work and with all my sign requests! But at least I’m trying right?! Anyways, I’ve had some requests for my smoothie recipes. So each day I’m going to post a new healthy smoothie and all the ingredients used to make each one, this way we can experience them together.

Day 1: Honey, Ginger, Peach & Spinach Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 handful of spinach
1 tablespoon of graded ginger
2 cups of frozen or canned peaches
2 tablespoons of honey
1 cup of water or more if desired

I’m not going to lie this isn’t the best tasting smoothie that I have ever had, but it is probably one of the healthiest. I am also battling a little bit of a cold right now so the honey and ginger does wonders for my chest and throat.

Hope you guys enjoy! I have a delicious one prepped for tomorrow, stay tuned!

White chocolate Valentines Day Bark

Happy Thursday!

Today, after my workout I had a huge craving for chocolate… unfortunately, the craving won and I started looking on pinterest for a chocolaty desert. I came across this cute valentines themed chocolate bark, and had to try it. I then spent a small fortune just to get all my ingredients at bulk barn, plus a few more unnecessary treats.. MINI EGGS! I also headed into the dollar store in the search of a small heart mold. Unfortunately, my molds were a little large for my bark, but more chocolate the better! Below check out how I made these sweet treats!

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Chill Time: 1 Hour
Total Time: 1 Hour & 10 Minutes

Ingredients: (Making 12 hearts)
3 Cups of White Chocolate Melting Wafers
Red & Pink Smarties or M&ms
Red & Pink Sprinkles

Step 1: Put the white chocolate in a small pot on low over the stovetop. Put sprinkles and smarties in the bottom of each heart mold.

Step 2: Once the white chocolate has melted, poor it on top of the sprinkles and smarties in each heart mold. Poor slowly, this step can get messy.

Step 3: Once all the molds are full, let sit for an hour or 30 minutes in the freezer. Then, when hearts are chilled, pop them out of their mold and enjoy your Valentines Day bark!

DIY Delicious Vitamin Water

Hey lovelies, I’ve seen this DIY vitamin water recipe floating around on Pinterest so I decided to try it myself. I added some blueberries to my recipe just to add so more color and blueberries happen to be my favorite fruit. A lot of my friends have also been raving about this vitamin water, so I’m guessing it does wonders! I’ve read that this water mixture washes all the toxins out of your body and helps you lose weight relatively faster then usual.  So here goes it! – So far so good.
