Christmas Bark & Shortbread

Christmas Bark
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without some holiday baking! My favorite treats this year are my mom’s mouthwatering shortbread cookies and my good friend's Christmas Bark crackers. Both of these recipes are extremely easy to make and are both absolutely delicious.

Christmas Bark Recipe also known as Christmas Soda Biscuit Toffee

Bake Time: 9 Minutes
Chill Time: 1 Hour
Total Time: 1 Hour & 19 Minutes

Ingredients:
Premium Plus soda crackers
½ Cup of butter or 1 stick of butter

Step 1: Preheat the oven to Bake 350 F. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil and lightly spray the foil with pam. Line the premium crackers on the tin foil side by side.

Step 2: In a small saucepan add  ½ a cup of butter and  ½ a cup of brown sugar. Mix the butter and brown sugar together until it starts to boil. Apx 3 minutes.

Step 3: Pour the sauce over the crackers and spread with a spatula. Put the pan in the oven for 7 minutes. Take another saucepan and add  ½ a bag of chocolate chips. Put on low until the chocolate has melted.

Step 4: Remove pan from oven and pour the melted chocolate chips over the crackers with a spatula. Put back in the oven for 2 minutes.

Step 5: Take pan out of the oven and let sit in the fridge for 1 hour until cold, and then break into pieces.
